Sharif & Melissa’s Wedding

Just some of my favs from Sharif & Melissa’s wedding :)…

Since I was a guest/photographer I was ever so thankful for Rebeca for coming and second shooting with me.

We’ll start it off with one of her images of the beautiful church πŸ™‚

And another shot of Rebeca’s!

I can never stress enough the importance of having two photographers. Thanks again Rebeca for being in the right place at the right time.

I on the other hand waited patiently on the other side of the church to get this shot. Then….

like a stealth bomber I flew to the other side of the church to get this shot of Melissa looking at Sharif πŸ˜‰ ok, maybe not that fast!

The beautiful bride…

and the handsome groom

Gotta love a laugh πŸ™‚

And the’re off to the reception site!

To take some photos as Mr. & Mrs πŸ™‚

They had an amazing belly dancer at their reception

Once again, the wonderfulness of having a second shooter. While I was snapping away shots of people dancing Rebeca got this photo of my grandma smiling at Melissa. Love it!

Congratulations Sharif & Melissa!

Alex & Shannon’s Wedding

Alex & Shannon got married at the Barcelo Resort in Cabo San Lucas. I was so thankful to be able to photograph their wedding. You can’t beat being at a wedding in Cabo! Everything turned out beautifully. With only close family and friends it was a perfect way to celebrate their big day πŸ™‚

Let’s start it off with the groom! Alex relaxing before the ceremony πŸ™‚

And the beautiful bride soaking up the sun while looking lovely in her dress πŸ™‚

The ceremony site was Gorgeous!

Loved this shot that my handsome second shooter (my hubby) got of Shannon and her dad looking at each other

The day after the wedding we took some more photographs of Alex & Shannon…

Thank you Shannon & Alex for letting Will & I be apart of your big day!

Adam & Katie’s Wedding

Adam & Katie’s wedding was at Big Horn in Palm Desert. The most amazing golf course I’ve ever seen and the best staff to work with πŸ™‚

A big thanks to Steve Cenicola, general manager at Big Horn for being so amazing and I’m sorry I almost ran over your foot in the golf cart!

Thank you Adam & Katie for letting me photograph your big day! You are truly an amazing couple and I had so much fun with the two of you πŸ™‚

Loved the amazing view during the reception

Chris & Dyanna’s Wedding

Chris & Dyanna’s wedding was atΒ The Queen Mary in Long Beach. I’ve never walked so much at a wedding before. That ship is HUGE!!!! A big thanks toΒ Rebeca for second shooting with me πŸ™‚

Even though Chris had pink eye and wasn’t feeling very well, the day unfolded beautifully…

Dyanna you look BEAUTIFUL!!!

Pink eye and feelin’ crappy…Chris is still lookin’ like a stud πŸ™‚

The first look…peeking around the corner to see her man!

Dyanna told me that they do not dance. They were even thinking of not doing a first dance at their reception. Ummm…really?!?!?!

You two dance like you are pros!!!

So glad they decided to do a first dance! even if they weren’t the only ones on the dance floor πŸ™‚

Brittany & Justin’s Wedding

Brittany & Justin’s wedding was atΒ Padua HIlls Theatre in Claremont. Let me tell you…the staff there was on top of everything! You can’t go wrong booking a wedding there. Seriously it’s my new favorite venue.

My day started off with the girls πŸ™‚

Buttons, buttons, buttons! Brittany waits patiently as her mom buttons ALL the buttons!

Check the hair one last time before the veil

Brittany’s nephew waits patiently to deliver her wedding gift from her future husband πŸ™‚

It was her something blue!

Praying before they headed outside

Justin was not embarrassed at all during his brothers speech!

Justin danced better on his knees than I could ever try to do on my feet!

Was Brittany’s garter glued to her leg?!?! Justin is having a mighty hard time getting it off!

Grandpa Joe! I loved watching grandpa Joe. He made me smile the whole night πŸ™‚

Yes…Brittany thinks her friends are hilarious!

Glow sticks!!!

A hug for her momma πŸ™‚

Last photo of the night!

Congratulations Brittany & Justin!!!

A wedding from a different view

It was such a different way of being apart of a wedding. I’m usually there from start to finish documenting the day as it unfolds. This time around it was my turn to wear a different pair of shoes.

My friend Holly was marrying the man of her dreams and I was honored to be her matron of honor. The day unfolded beautifully πŸ™‚

Thank you Megan Siana Rebeca Irene & Dan Rarela for teaming up and photographing Holly & Erik’s wedding so beautifully.

Here’s some photos showing the many roles I played…

Hairstylist… (thank you angry birds for making my 3 year old sit still for me)

dress tier-upper (why can’t wedding dresses have zippers!)

Nose picker πŸ™‚

Photographer! Only for about 5 mins 😦

Two of my images from my 5 mins of shooting…

(side note…look at my back! No butt crack baby!!! If you follow my blog you will have read that my dress was too tight and made me have a butt crack in my back. Thanks to Cage fitness I got rid of it :))

I lost 3.2 percent body fat from the middle of January to the end of April!

Before and after photos! Thankfully nobody had to see that nasty crack at the wedding!

being a mom never stopped that day…

I was so proud of Travis & Danyka. They did an awesome job being the ring bearer and flower girl.

I love how Danyka is looking at my mom in the isle. She loves her grandma!

Drink getter for the bride and groom (dan is focused!)

Shoe putter-oner…(I know my words are not real but I like it)

Speech time!!! I didn’t realize I talk with my hands πŸ™‚

Dancing with my sweet boy!

Seeing this melted my heart! It made me think of her wedding day dancing with her daddy.

Will & I with the newlyweds πŸ™‚

Jason & Jenette’s Wedding

My last wedding for 2010! What a way to end the year with such a beautiful couple! πŸ™‚

Jenette’s dress was absolutely perfect for her.

Yup, fit her like a glove!

Beautiful πŸ™‚

I always try to make my couples laugh. I’m not sure if Jason was laughing at me or with me on this one???

Oh well…he’s laughing so I guess it doesn’t matter πŸ™‚

The ceremony was in Jenette’s parents backyard. It was such a perfect day considering it was crazy weather the day before.

Jenette and her dad were doin’ their thing to the macarena. Jason on the other hand was a bit confused!

So like a loving wife, Jenette showed him what to do πŸ™‚ I think he was still confused but he tried!

Congratulations Jason & Jenette!

Donal & Jillian’s Wedding

Donal & Jillian’s wedding was at the Clark Estate in Santa Fe Springs. It was a beautiful day for a perfect wedding πŸ™‚

Thank you Donal & Jill for allowing me to be apart of you special day!

Will got a beautiful wide angle shot of the ceremony…

and I got the close up πŸ™‚

I LOVE the smiles on couples faces when they are announced as Mr. & Mrs.

I pay extra close attention to the speeches during the reception. It’s going to be my turn standing up there saying my speech in March so I like to get inspiration πŸ™‚

Jillian’s sister’s speech was perfect. I loved it!

Donal and his mom have a way that the look at each other. It’s so loving and heart felt. This is how I want Travis to look at me on his wedding day πŸ™‚

TheΒ photo booth at their reception was perfect. It was so fun!

Henry & Veronica’s Wedding

Henry & Veronica have been married for 6 years. They wanted to get married again but this time in the church πŸ™‚

It was a beautiful ceremony! Even though it was in spanish and I didn’t understand most of what they were saying I still felt the love πŸ™‚

Thank you Henry & Veronica for letting be be apart of your special day!

It was a group ceremony…the first row were all the couples

While I was in front of the church…Will (my hubby) got this shot of Henry & Veronica’s girls waiting to walk the ring to their parents πŸ™‚

Looking at their beautiful girls:)

Cecy & Eric’s Wedding

On a beautiful October day Cecy & Eric said “I DO” Β at theΒ Etiwanda Gardens.

Of course Cecy looked radiant while in her bridal room before the ceremony

Eric was well rested and handsome…he had no problem sleeping the night before. His mind was peacefully dreaming about the Lakers!

Congratulations! One of the first photos as Mr. & Mrs and Eric can’t take his eyes off of his beautiful wife πŸ™‚

Can’t help it! I have to post more pics of Cecy πŸ™‚

I’ll end it with their first dance πŸ™‚

You can breathe now Eric…picture taking is done!

Thank you Cecy & Eric for letting me be apart of your big day!

Charissa & Jerry

Charissa said she was up for anything…really??? Anything??? That’s when I knew this shoot was gonna be FUN!!!

I photographed Charissa & Jerry’s wedding last October. They were the PERFECT couple for this shoot!

We met them at Ruby’s and took a few shots there…here’s my fav πŸ™‚

Then headed to the beach…

Charissa actually thought of this…she worked it up on those stairs. GREAT idea Charissa! I loved it!

Thank you Charissa & Jerry for being so perfect for this shoot!!! You guys ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an end to such a fun day. Yes, I was wet, sandy and exhausted but it was well worth it!

Marina & Paul

I was looking for models (posted it here) for me and my lovely friends Megan and Rebeca to have a little workshop day.Β Marina & Paul were one lovely couple that we had the pleasure of photographing. They have been married for 8 years and have 3 handsome boys. You would have never known!!! When it was time to get in front of the camera they worked it like they were newlyweds!!! Thank you Marina & Paul for being absolutely wonderful πŸ™‚

We had the pleasure of shooting at the BEAUTIFUL Hidden Oaks in Rancho Cucamonga. Not only were we photographing at an amazingly beautiful location, Julie fromΒ Claremont Florist provided us with these beautiful bouquets…

We even got to eat this delicious cake by Divine Cakes by Janice!

So this was where I wanted to focus on getting a series of shots without moving the bride and groom very much. I often don’t have tons of time while photographing a bride and groom on their wedding day so I try and get as many different shots in just a couple of minutes. Here goes…

Hold that thought…gotta re-apply the lips! πŸ™‚

I gotta say it again…THANK YOU Marina & Paul!!!

Erin & Scott’s Wedding

I met Erin & Scott while I was photographing Scott’s cousins wedding last October. Erin emailed a few weeks after the wedding saying this…

“I LOVED the pictures you captured for Breanna wedding! I love all the candid pictures you got and all the action, it really made the wedding come alive again!”

Fast forward to May 15th and I’m photographing Erin & Scott’s big day!

Let’s start Β the photos off with some fine lookin’ legs πŸ™‚

The girls started the party right off the bat. No need to wait for the reception!

Erin’s bouquet had a photo of her mom on it.

I usually don’t post wedding party pics on the blog but this location was just awesome. I love the backdrop πŸ™‚

Thank you Erin & Scott for letting me photograph your big day!

Lindsay & Chad continued…

Lindsay & Chad get a little extra love on the blog since it took me FOREVER to post their pics. You never know when things are going to come up in life to rock your world. So once again thank you Lindsay and Chad for hangin’ in there waiting patiently for your pics.

Lindsay is a hairstylist/makeup artist and did not want her bridesmaids hair to fall. So she used almost an entire bottle of hairspray to make sure their hair lasted ALL DAY LONG. As you can see her maid of honor can barely breath from all the hairspray flowin’ in the room πŸ™‚

Lindsay did an AMAZING job on her own makeup

This little guy was barking at me the whole time I was at Lindsay’s house. What a good guard dog! πŸ™‚

I love how it takes 4 bridesmaids to help get a dress on. What other time would you need that many helping hands while getting dressed? πŸ™‚

Yup…they got handcuffed!

Lindsay serenading Chad…

A big family hug πŸ™‚

This was hilarious! Lindsay put these massive granny panties in her garter for Chad to whip out. The guests thought it was awesome!

They thought it would not only be a good idea to have the best man be a chair for Lindsay but to put the bazooka sized underwear on his head too πŸ™‚

Jeri & Dylan’s Wedding

Jeri & Dylan’s wedding was at the beautiful Mitten Building in Redlands. Β A big thank you goes out toΒ Megan for second shooting with me! Check out her blog post from the wedding.

Thank you Jeri & Dylan for letting us share your big day with you πŸ™‚

I loved Jeri’s dress. It fit her perfectly πŸ™‚

The stunning bride

Jeri & Dylan saw each other before the ceremony.

Dylan walking to see his bride for the first time…

The first look πŸ™‚

Mr. & Mrs.

You always get the best laughs during the speeches πŸ™‚

Kyle & Brittany’s Wedding

Kyle & Brittany’s Wedding was at the Sierra La Verne Country Club. They were such a fun couple, always crackin’ jokes! I had a blast at their wedding. Might I add that their families and friends sure do know how to dance the night away πŸ™‚ You will see Brittany’s grandpa workin’ the dance floor in the last pic!

The sunset was beautiful…it was a perfect backdrop for the cake.

Man did Kyle get Brittany with the cake. She took it like a champ πŸ™‚

Work it Grandpa!

David & Lisa’s Wedding

Davis & Lisa’s wedding was at the beautiful Monteleone Meadows. It was a small intimate wedding with only close family and friends. I can’t even describe how in love David and Lisa are. When I first met with them, I seriously didn’t want to leave! I could have sat there and talked to them all day :} They are such amazing people and their love just radiated out of them.

Lisa’s dad was so happy to dance with his little girl!

Jerry & Charissa’s Wedding

Jerry and Charissa were such an easy couple to work with. The only request they had for me was to get some photos of them in front of the fire truck. That’s it? YEP!

Charissa was the most relaxed bride I have ever seen. Even though we were behind schedule she was calm and enjoying every moment. Might I add that she was STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!! I really couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding. I knew Charissa was going to look perfect in her wedding dress. Which she did of course!

Even though there were a few things that happened throughout the night that weren’t planned. Joe… I mean Jerry (if you were at the wedding you know what I mean) and Charissa were so good about everything. They enjoyed themselves the entire time πŸ™‚

SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Jerry you are one lucky guy!!!

Waiting for his bride to walk down the isle

Congratulations πŸ™‚

Their ONLY request…

Jerry gettin’ down on the dance floor!

Breanna REALLY wanted to do a trash the dress shoot. She emailed me a few times asking about it and she tried to make it work. Unfortunately things happened and she decided that she wouldn’t be able to do the shoot. Some time later Aaron called and told me that he knew how much it meant to Breanna and he wanted to surprise her with the shoot as a wedding gift. How awesome is that! I was so excited! I wanted to call Breanna right away and start planning it. Of course I couldn’t 😦 Β Aaron wasn’t going to tell her until their wedding night. It was so hard not to say anything to Breanna. I knew I would see her two days after their wedding but she didn’t πŸ™‚

So…we headed down to Huntington Beach for the shoot. Breanna didn’t want to do any trashing which was perfectly fine with me. This beach was where they got engaged so it meant a lot to them. It was so nice to get photos of them so relaxed and in love πŸ™‚

They went to Ruby’s right before Aaron proposed and drank peanut butter cup shakes. They were excited to see the shake on the wall! Yes, we decided to be fierce in front of the Ruby’s sign πŸ™‚

Aaron & Breanna’s Wedding

What a beautiful couple these two are. I can’t even describe how beautiful their relationship is. They are so in love with each other. It’s so stinkin’ cute πŸ™‚

I have NEVER been so emotional at a wedding before. Seriously, I was fighting back tears! Their wedding was centered around God and the tremendous amount of love they both have for Him. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! There were so many surprises throughout the day too. Breanna surprised Aaron right before she walked down the isle with a speech. Well, really it was more than that. So, you could hear her voice but not see her. It was beautiful to watch Aaron as he listened to her voice.

More surprises in the pics below…

After they kissed it was Aaron’s turn to surprised Breanna. He sang her a lovely song.

A moment to themselves right after the ceremony Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β He couldn’t take his eyes off of her πŸ™‚

Breanna then wrote her dad something so special. This was really when I was fighting back the tears! Her dad had given her a purity ring years ago and she was now giving it back to him. Again it was such a special moment to see. It totally made me think of my daughter on her wedding day.

I couldn’t imagine being a father and letting go of your little girl

Ray & Jennifer’s Wedding

What a beautiful wedding Β it was!

Check out Megan’s blog post too πŸ™‚

I do have to give a shout out to Clynda who did an AMAZING job on Jennifers hair. As a retired hairstylist myself, I do have to say she does exceptional work!

The details were one of a kind. It fit them so perfectly πŸ™‚

A little prayer before the ceremony

I love the way the look at each other, so genuine and heart felt

One last kiss before my night was through πŸ™‚

Jeff & Renae’s Wedding

I had the honor of shooting Jeff and Renae’s wedding earlier this month. Their wedding was absolutely amazing πŸ™‚ I did get spoiled with a second shooter. No, not my hubby!!! Megan did an awesome job. She shot the guys, I shot the girls. I shot the wedding party she shot the cocktail hour. Of course we tag teamed during the ceremony and reception πŸ™‚ Check out her blog post on the wedding.

Renae looked stunning. Look at those beautiful brown eyes!!!

What a beautiful couple inside and out. Jeff and Renae, Thank you for letting me be apart of your big day! You guys are amazing!

Zach & Ashley’s Wedding

This wedding was super special to me. Ashley and I have been friends since high school and we have tons of memories together. I’m so glad that I was able to photograph her wedding for her πŸ™‚ She married such an amazing man! I seriously couldn’t have picked a better man for her. Zach, YOU ROCK!!!! Their wedding was at Zach’s parents BEAUTIFUL home in Klamath, Ca. I do have to thank my hubby again for shooting with me. He did an awesome job :}

The first look…

That’s us!!! We love you Ashley and Zach!!!

Newport Beach Wedding

I was happy to shoot this wedding not only because I love to photograph for this family but it was my first beach wedding! It was also the first wedding that I had an assistant! My husband! He was such a big help, he even took some photos during the ceremony. I was impressed, the first photo is one that he took. I think I should have him be a second shooter for me all the time =)Β

Not your everyday backyard wedding

Cindy & Gary’s wedding was amazing! It was in Cindy’s parents backyard, the house that she grew up in. AWW!!! When I saw the location a few days before the wedding I was soooo excited. There were so many spots that I thought would be great for pics the day of the wedding. Sooo….the big day comes and so does the sun =( Β A lot of those awesome spots Β weren’t so awesome anymore. I mean they were still beautiful but there was way to much sun and would not make a cute picture. We just had to find some shade! Thanks for letting me be apart of you big day Cindy & Gary =)

Walsh Wedding

Here’s a few collages I did really quick just to ease the anticipation for Mrs. Walsh. I got a text from her today while she is enjoying her honeymoon asking how the pics came out. I know she and her family are dying to see them so here’s a little sneak peek.Β
